Taekwon-Do provides a range of benefits, including strength, fitness and general wellbeing. It is a true life-skill, providing the student with tools to keep safe in the modern world.
For Discipline and Self Confidence: The tenets of Taekwon-Do, repeated at every session, reinforce the standards required not just in the Dojang, but in everyday life.
What can be achieved through Taekwon-Do training? The student of Taekwon-Do develops unbeatable self-defense through rigid training and professional supervised instruction. In addition, Taekwon-Do builds dynamic strength, flexibility and resilience. It provides excellent all-around exercise and develops coordination and agility.
Who may learn Taekwon-Do? Classes are open to men, women, and children as Taekwon-Do is one of the only true family martial arts; all can learn and participate together. The degree of progress for any student is based on the individual coordination and attentiveness. Physical fitness is essential for a happy, productive life, and invariably, people who are capable of defending themselves are less likely to become involved in conflict.
When do we train? Normal training is twice per week:
Tuesday 7-9pm, Sible Hedingham Village Hall, Essex CO9 3NJ (all students)
Friday 4:25-5:15, Bocking Primary School, Braintree, Essex CM7 5LA (primary school students only)
Additional training (eg weekends) by arrangement.
